  • NEW THIS YEAR – Payments can be made online via credit card on our website at https://www.kilgourpta.org/techfee.
  • Submit the following in an envelope labeled “Kilgour Tech Fee”:

    • Checks made to “Kilgour PTA”

Recently, the fee has enabled our teachers to store all iPads in four new carts with new keyboard attachments so our technology can be used more effectively for all students throughout the school. Participate in PTA Reflections!
Submissions due on November 6
What is reflections? The Ohio PTA holds an annual cultural arts program called Reflections. Children in preschool through Grade 12 are encouraged to create and submit works of art based on the year's theme which is "Let Your Imagination Fly!" To take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for our students, Kilgour plans to participate in the program for the first time in our history! Kilgour is looking for student participants to submit artwork for the Visual Arts category for the 2015-16 contest (one of six categories in which schools are eligible) for Grades K-2, 3-5 and 6-8 levels. Reflect on the theme. Create an original work. Be recognized. Submissions are due on November 6. Fall season is here and the signs are evident...from falling leaves to falling temperatures. I'm excited for the things to come this month and this season for the students and staff at Kilgour!

Thank you for your attendance and cooperation with our 2015 Open House as well as 1st quarter conferences which were held last month. Also, if you have not sent in your Hopes and Dreams cloud for your family/child this year, please do so. They are now displayed throughout our school building, highlighting our families' hopes and dreams! Please add yours today, if you have not already.

Believe it or not, we began 2nd quarter on Monday, Oct. 19th. Reports cards for 1st quarter will be distributed on Friday, Oct. 23rd along with student awards/certificates and honors.

We are fast approaching one of the favorite times of the year, where our students and families show their creative side as well as have a little Fall fun! Our Costume Parade for K-3 will take place on Friday, Oct. 30th beginning at 1:45pm. Students in grades 4th-6th will enjoy the annual Harvest Jam which will begin at 2:30pm. So mark your calendars and be on the lookout for more information on how you can help!

Finally, please be cautious and extend your cooperation during drop-off and pick-up time, as city maintenance work is being conducted in front of the school and along Hershel Avenue.

Best regards - Principal Cook Frazier
